How these tools work
Everything here is free, with no sign-up and no limits. The token counter runs entirely in your browser, so the text you paste never leaves your device. The two calculators use prices taken from each provider's own pricing page, and every page shows the date we last checked them.
We built these because we kept needing them while writing about AI, and the answers on offer elsewhere were either guesses or out of date. Where a number can't be known, like how many messages a Claude plan gives you, we say so instead of inventing one.
